However, I would have stopped playing this game by now, if it was just a single player experience. I absolutely love the worlds that they gave us to explore (despite their kill zones and invisible barriers). I love Destiny to death, and I love the worlds that Bungie gave me to visit on my whim. Variety, after all, is usually the only reason most people continue to play a game after they've beaten it. We ALL want to be better and have better gear, and for what? PVP that has 4-6 modes, some unavailable at most times of the month, and ZERO customization to the multiplayer, and a raid that is neat, but heavily glitched. (IE: Go scout this location AND snipe 10 s a start) It's the ONLY reason any of us continue to play this game. Giving us a handful of the SAME repetitive tasks is the bane of Destiny's game play. If ANY of the Halo games had "bounties" and 20 pieces of "gear" that you could "upgrade" and then use in their bad ass multiplayer, then Halo would be absolutely NO different than Destiny at it's core. THOSE were the good ol' days when you could count on simple things, like weapon consistency, and proper weapon balance, and truly skillful encounters. It's why people suffered through 4 player split screen and were OK with tiny ass huds to do their slaughtering through. The re-playability of the multiplayer components of Halo were absolutely amazing. Halo 3/4, with Forge, was the single most thing I invested my time into, back in the day. I feel that Halo's re-playability factor is more 'fun' based. (None of them, including my fiance, give two shits about it) Please forgive my personal opinions rant, but as a Halo vet of 13 years (Also dipped my joysticks into Marathon, and years of WoW, not that it matters in what I have to say), I just need an outlet to say this to anybody other than my Roommates, because they all hate me when I talk about Destiny.
